Fir’awn was not destroyed on the first day of his oppression. Sometimes Allah allows wrongdoers more time and from the outside it may seem as though they are escaping every consequence. But the Quran teaches us to see beyond the immediate moment. Extra time may only allow an oppressor to increase the case against themselves. They are not escaping Allah. They may be adding to their own burden. For the believer, this understanding brings calm. Allah is present, Allah is aware and no act of injustice is ever forgotten.
