In many Muslim families, Islamic learning is treated like something children do for a few years before *“real education”* begins. Then exams, careers and academic success take priority, while deeper Islamic learning quietly disappears. The problem is not education itself. The problem is teaching young Muslims that Islam is something basic they complete early, while everything serious comes later. That mindset can have long-term consequences. I make kids stories aiming first at parents who will read to their kids, to learn first.
We need to be taught like kids all our lives....study how Musa is asked whats that in your hands by Allah....thats how one starts talking to kids ......and Allah says in surah yaseen when one reaches old age they are reversed.....to weakness....often parents need to be spoken to like kids as well......
Very true indeed… in my community learning Quran is for the kids! When the child finish the Quran and reach may be in class 8 , that is it!!! Without even memorizing, they have now to emphasize the school…very sad indeed…
